Food Safety and Trace ability
Compliance in regard to food safety and trace ability is an important part of our business.
Every country we export stock to has their own set of protocols and we must comply with
all their individual requirements. This involves numerous tests and proof of eligibility
for final export. Correctly identifying the animal is just one proponent – a complete record
of tests is supplied certifying health status and genetic history of every animal that
leaves the country.
All animals purchased through Xcell are identified with a unique electronic ear tag. This ensures trace ability
back to the Farm of Origin from any where in the world. Electronic Tagging efficiently and accurately identifies
and tracks specific conditions you as the buyer may require.
Animal Welfare
We look after the animals all the way. Xcell use the services of a nutritionist to ensure
the animals are kept in the best possible condition at all stages of the sale through to
delivery in your quarantine. Our results speak for themselves with one Euthanasia
being the only death in the last three shipments. Preparing the correct diet and
preconditioning the animals is vital in avoiding health issues that may follow 6 months
after delivery.
After Sales Service
Part of our after sales service involves education and training. This may involve training in New Zealand and
/or off shore for those interested in proven integrated farming systems with a focus on:
