Xcell Livestock Ltd (XCELL) is a privately held company formed in 2004. Although newly formed, this company brings together a group of highly skilled and motivated people with over 150 years combined experience in the Dairying / Export and Agribusiness Industries.

This experience has enabled XCELL to quickly establish itself as a market leader, exporting 16,000 Dairy Heifers within the first year of operation.

The People Behind XCELL

This group of individuals have worked together on various international projects over the years. The decision to unite under XCELL was seen as logical.

Ian MacDonald –Director, Founder and major shareholder of Xcell Breeding Services Ltd with over 25 years of experience in the Advanced Animal Breeding, Genetics and export service fields.

Tim Wilding – Director,Stud Principal Te Mania Angus Livestock. Established in 1928 Te Mania has grown to over 1000 registered females making it one of the largest suppliers of Angus genetics in Australasia and China

Hong Weiguo – Director, Weiguo is a successful multicultural Businessman the major shareholder of Xcell Cattle Exporters Ltd and Second major shareholder of Temania Livestock Ltd. He is the third generation of Hong Family Taiji

Peter Goes – Director XCEL, Bay of Plenty Dairy Farmer of the Year with over 30 years dairying experience.

Dean Harper – Director, Dean comes to Xcell with 25 years extensive knowledge and ability in managing NZ large scale quality beef / sheep production and livestock export systems.
